The Beautiful Killer
By Kevin B. Bullard

You know it's spring whenever you see the light, purplish flower hanging from trees and bushes. Look around the next time you're outside, and you'll be sure to see it.

This flower, known as Wisteria, has four species: Chinese, Japanese, American, and Kentucky. Used as an ornamental flower, it is considered a beautiful plant that one would do well to grow.

Despite all the good press about the Wisteria, the flower has a dark side. While it livens and refreshes everyone with its long, drooping vines covered with blooms; it carries a destructive payload just waiting to be activated.

Parts of the Wisteria are poisonous, and can deeply sicken and even kill animals and humans. "How can such a pretty flower do so much damage," you ask? It's all about the seed.

The seed and seed pod of the Wisteria are poisonous, and potentially deadly if ingested by animals or humans. Therefore, caution must be taken when around this flower. Though it looks good and brings a lot of eye pleasure, at its very core, it's a killer.

Just as you know it's spring when you see Wisteria, you know it's spring when every other woman you see has more flesh on exhibition than a cadaver in a medical school lab. It never fails, as the temperature rises, clothing starts falling.

While it may seem harmless to stare at the bodies and make comparisons between your wife/girlfriend and the women you see, it's a dangerous thing to do. When you replay in your mind how the hair looked, how the eyes looked, and how the clothing tightly fit on the sumptuous body parts; you're doing damage to your life. "How can such a pretty young thing do so much damage," you ask? It's all about the seed.

The seeds that accompany thinking on, touching, and buying the titillating flesh art you see daily carry a destructive payload powerful enough to wipe out your entire life (spiritually, mentally, and physically). Though the activities mentioned above appear to be innocent pleasures, at their very core, they're killers.
